I received in about a week ago five cards I had put in best offers on via eBay to a seller who lives outside of cincy.

One of the cards was a redsfest exclusive topps signed by Chris Dickerson, a once sure fire starting outfielder who like a lot of guys we had in the past either couldn’t stay healthy for us or couldn’t hit in the majors like he did in the minors.

Next I picked up three signed Kahns cards I didn’t have. I’ve always enjoyed getting these cards since you can’t get them anywhere but the stadium.

Lastly I got a signed card of prospect who will not get coffee Mark Fluery. It’s a signed Dragons card which I think is cool and I have a big appreciation for guys who play minor league ball traveling the country in a charter bus getting paid nothing compared to their MLB counterparts because they love the game.

I picked up this card in late December or early January from Bob (lock-em-up-bob) on eBay. He and his brother sell a lot of stuff on there. I always like being able to get a Diaz I don’t have that I can afford.

Once again I haven’t made any posts in a while. I had a fairly good size stack of cards to share but they are now mixed in with my collection so instead ill share some newer stuff that I know I’ve gotten since the last post and some random stuff that isn’t on the blog.

This post contains cards that I had Ron Oester sign for me during a signing I conducted with him on January 5th. Ron and his son Jake traveled down from their home in Cincinnati to Richmond KY where a card show was going on to be the guests there (along with Willie Blair). I did some mail order on SCN but didn’t really advertise anywhere else so if you need any signed Oester cards email me and I’ll see if I can help. I’ll also update the trade/sale section and post them there as well.

At any rate, most of what I had Ron sign for me were oddball type cards as I knew I’d have extra base cards if I didn’t sell them as time moves on. Oddball as in topps bigg, Kahns, topps Tiffany, etc. See pics and enjoy.

Here is what I was able to nab in person. My dad got Leake and Villarreal for me. Note the two reds stickers. Blue is mr Redlegs and the white is Jim Day.

Got 2 Hamilton’s from a guy that Jane and Darla introduced me to. Picked up a cool Larkin for a 20 spot and the Vukovich I felt like I stole for 5 bux. The TCMA cards I got from one dealer that had all kinds of oddball reds stuff.

Purchased these cards from Jon O’Connor. He always has some things that I need that he has either gotten in trades or from some of his previous Moeller signings that he has found in hiding.

Over the past couple of months I picked up 3 new Layana cards. 91 Fleer, 91 Upper Deck and a 92 Stadium Club.

These came in the mail today from Chris Potter’s latest trip. Was excited to finally get some Bob Bailey autos. Also was able to knock out two more cards for my 1990 set from a difficult signer.

It’s been a couple months since I updated the blog. I haven’t been buying as much and what I’ve gotten I’ve just been saving up to post before I store them away.

Here are 5 1975 SSPC cards that I picked up off eBay. I still have Bench, Rose, Morgan, and Kirby to get.
