I received in about a week ago five cards I had put in best offers on via eBay to a seller who lives outside of cincy.
One of the cards was a redsfest exclusive topps signed by Chris Dickerson, a once sure fire starting outfielder who like a lot of guys we had in the past either couldn’t stay healthy for us or couldn’t hit in the majors like he did in the minors.
Next I picked up three signed Kahns cards I didn’t have. I’ve always enjoyed getting these cards since you can’t get them anywhere but the stadium.
Lastly I got a signed card of prospect who will not get coffee Mark Fluery. It’s a signed Dragons card which I think is cool and I have a big appreciation for guys who play minor league ball traveling the country in a charter bus getting paid nothing compared to their MLB counterparts because they love the game.
Once again I haven’t made any posts in a while. I had a fairly good size stack of cards to share but they are now mixed in with my collection so instead ill share some newer stuff that I know I’ve gotten since the last post and some random stuff that isn’t on the blog.
This post contains cards that I had Ron Oester sign for me during a signing I conducted with him on January 5th. Ron and his son Jake traveled down from their home in Cincinnati to Richmond KY where a card show was going on to be the guests there (along with Willie Blair). I did some mail order on SCN but didn’t really advertise anywhere else so if you need any signed Oester cards email me and I’ll see if I can help. I’ll also update the trade/sale section and post them there as well.
At any rate, most of what I had Ron sign for me were oddball type cards as I knew I’d have extra base cards if I didn’t sell them as time moves on. Oddball as in topps bigg, Kahns, topps Tiffany, etc. See pics and enjoy.
